A post for anybody that follows my filmmaking.

I haven't been on social a great deal lately (Apart from the occasional rant about UK politicians) I have mainly been dealing with the practical day to day stuff. Paying the bills with corporate videos and such.

I also have a few projects I have been working at to make happen. One is an Anthology series called "Mad World". Wonder where the inspiration for that came from! Seriously, I just wanted to do all sorts of stories and not be locked into the same story and characters for years. https://www.madworldseries.com

First of all, it looks like I'll be making a film about the artist Lincoln Townley. His story is incredible. It's inspiring what he has done over the last ten years. From starting as a strip club marketing manager, to being one of the most successful artists in the world.

Lincoln Townley work below

Michael Caine has called him "The next Andy Warhol". He's done paintings for lots of stars from Michael Caine, to Charlie Sheen, Gary Oldman, Al Pacino, Gene Hackman, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio and many many more iconic stars. Too many to list. https://www.thegentlemansjournal.com/article/art-making-money/

I connected with him for a while online, then met him in London two weeks ago at one of his latest shows. Then had a meeting about a film about him. His artwork gets shown in all the top galleries around the world. They sell out via his online virtual studio before they even go on display at shows.

Anyway, it's an incredible opportunity to be able to make a film about how he started to the present day, and his ambitious plans for the future. He has lots of footage already shot from when he started in his garage, to the present day. One of his team has been shooting for years. There's still more for me to shoot and edit the whole film.

It's looks like I will be starting before the end of the year, so we can make a 2023 release date to festival and platforms and such. I'll also be making Mad World when I can, but my main priority will be Lincoln's film.

I also have a £20m budget action film I have been trying to get made. It's all about attaching the right producer for that, which I'm working at. Iv'e had interest, but I need the right company on board for this. If that goes, that's like a few years turn around on that.

In the meantime, I'm getting ready for this doc, and I have been writing the films for Mad World. I obviously get plenty of inspiration for this in our everyday world today.

Thanks for reading.
