 WHAT IS YOUR PAST FILMMAKING EXPERIENCE?

My first feature film was an industry funded film that was made in the US. It was released in the Cinema, TV, and DVD. I have since made another four feature films, a crime series on Amazon Prime & Apple TV.  Also, shorts, Documentaries, Showreel Scenes, and hundreds of corporate videos. I'm still making films. 


 WHAT SKILLS DO YOU HAVE AS A FILMMAKER?  ​

I write, produce, direct, and edit my films. I also do my own promo artwork and websites. I'm also an actor, so I understand the acting process. 


 IF YOU MAKE FILMS, WHY ARE YOU MAKING ACTORS SHOWREELS FOR A LIVING?  

Just like an actors life, fiction filmmaking is not consistent or lucrative enough to pay the bills. I make corporate videos and actors scenes to pay the bills.


 WHERE ARE YOU BASED?  

I'm based in Scotland but I also travel for shoots. I'll also be shooting in London for a week every month


 DO YOU OFFER A FREE CONSULTATION?

Yes! I have a private streaming service where we can have a video chat about a shoot. 

 DO YOU WRITE CUSTOM SCRIPTS FOR EACH ACTOR? 

I used to to write custom scripts, but I found it wasn't cost effective for me. If I did this, my time on these packages would be more than double the cost to make. However, I do customs for a higher price. 

I try to keep these at a price that are cost effective for actors. Also, I really don't believe actors really need custom scripts written for them. Casting Directors and Filmmakers are not really focussed on the script and story scenes when watching reels. They just want to see your acting. 

Also, each actor will play a scene differently from other actors. Just like when they are obviously doing well known plays that have been adapted over and over. 


 CAN YOU SHOOT ME TWO SCENES IN THE ONE DAY? 

Yes! There's a one and two scene package. Two scenes would be shot in the same day. 

 CAN YOU FIND AN ACTOR TO PLAY OPPOSITE ME?  

Ideally, it's best if you bring the actor. However, I know a lot of actors and a lot follow me, so I'm happy to try and find one. However, this will cost you an extra £50 to pay them. 

 HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FINISH A SHOWREEL SCENE? 

After the shoot, it wouldn't take any longer than a week. If you need it faster than that, there's an express 24 hour service. This costs an extra £50


 WHAT KIND OF LOCATIONS DO YOU FILM AT? 

Mainly public places. Parks, Urban. I scout the locations before a shoot. I also find locations that we can still shoot at if it rains. Outside locations are also great for natural light. I also shoot indoors for block bookings I shoot over a weekend. 

 WILL YOU TRAVEL FOR A SHOOT?  

Yes, I will travel outside Scotland & London to other towns and cities. However, travel expenses would have to be added to the cost. 


HOW DOES THE PAYMENT WORK ON THIS?  

I need a 50% deposit 7 days before the shoot. The remaining 50% is paid after I show you a draft of the edit. I prefer to be paid by a direct bank transfer.
